Yaw Preko to lead Medeama
Since the opening of the second round transfer window, Tarkwa based club, Medeama SC have been very active, making a series of signings to complement their already emboldened squad to properly compete for domestic trophies in the country.
In the turn of events, they have announced the immediate capture of Yaw “Rush” Preko into the head coach capacity until the end of the season.
The 46-year-old will be ably assisted by former Elmina Sharks coach Yaw Acheampong, who was recently shown the exit door after a string of poor results at the club.
Yaw Preko, some weeks past was in the dugout for Great Olympics, when coach Annor Walker took ill, it’s by his impressive showings with the Dade boys that led to his appointment as coach of the Mauve and Yellows.
“It feels amazing to be here and I look forward to working with my colleagues and the team,” Preko told the club’s official website on Wednesday.
