
President John Mahama has appointed Yaw Ampofo Ankrah as the new Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA).
Mr. Ankrah is a well known face in the Ghanaian sporting face with several vast years of experience.
He has had several positions in the sporting landscape.
Currently he is the President of the Beach Soccer in Ghana where he has aided the team to gain invaluable experience as well as international recognition.

Mr. Ankrah will get the opportunity of working with a host key personalities in the sporting industry, such as Sports and Recreation Minister Hon. Kofi Adams and other relevant stakeholders in order redirect, reposition, develop the sport in the country.

Hopefully with his vast years of experience in the sporting industry it will engineer a new look NSA which has come under constant attacks for failing to properly managed state own sporting facilities and infrastructures.
