Ghanaian shot-stopper, Joojo Wollacott is optimistic about the chances of the senior national team the Black Stars as they gear up ahead of the 2026 World Cup qualification games against Madagascar and Comoros.
Wollacott, who is making a return to the setup after suffering recurring injuries that ruled him out of BlackStars’ fourth participation in the FIFA World Cup is rallying the squad to take the upcoming games seriously to avoid disappointment.

Speaking exclusively to Saharafootball.net, Wollacott, said they (the team) know what to expect in the doubleheader against Madagascar and Comoros.
“The last time (Qatar 2022) was a difficult journey, so we know what to expect. We have to be prepared and take these games seriously “
On how it feels to be back to the side after almost a year of absence, the 26-year-old answered with a big smile on his face.
“It feels good to be back, I struggled with injuries and I’m very happy to be back”

Joojo will shrug it off with South Africa-based goalkeeper, Richard Ofori, and Lawrence Ati-Zigi for a spot between the stick for the BlackStars on Friday, November, 17,2023 against Madagascar at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
