Chairman of the Interim Management Committee of Asante Kotoko, Nana Apinkrah Akwasi Awuah didn’t hold back in lashing out at the Ghana Football Association visited him.
In his speech addressing issues relating to Ghana Football, Nana Apinkrah attacked the GFA using strong words for its poor treatment of clubs in the country.
”It would have been nice if GHALCA had come here for this meeting earlier before the IGP even did. For the GFA, we know they don’t value us but we will force you to respect us whether you like it or not. We will show you we are Kotoko and Hearts.” He ended

In the previous week, a Kotoko fan, Yaw Frimpong (Nana Pooley) was brutally murdered at Nsoatre when Kotoko met Nsoatreman.
Since the police have made several arrests and charged whiles two others are on the run.
The arrests include Isaac Fosu, Yeboah Augustine, Elizabeth Akosua Ntiwa (Akosua Black Chinese), and Yaa Asantewaa, 37, who were charged with abetment of crime to wit; murder, contrary to Sections 20(1) and 46 of the Criminal Offences Act of 1960 (Act 29).

Two others, Briamah (Rasta) and Yaw Koshy, currently on the run will bear the full rigor of the law with the same punishment as others arrested.
