Medeama SC attacker Zakaria Mumuni remains pained about his side’s loss at the hands of Dreams FC in the ultimate round of games at the Akoon Park.
The home side were coming into this fixture on the back of losing to Accra Lions whiles the latter also lost to Berekum Chelsea in the penultimate fixtures of the ongoing Ghana Premier League League 2021-22.
The Mauve and Yellow side started the early exchanges on the front foot with Ahmed Toure, Zakaria Mumuni, and others getting close to opening the account but it didn’t materialize.
The tricky winger, whose career this season has been blighted by injuries opined that failure to take their chances played a part in their loss to “Still Believe” side.
“If you study the game, we started very well than of our opponents. We created loads of chances which we should have taken advantage of but we failed”.
“After the match, our technical team reviewed the game and showed us our mistakes, hopefully in the second round we will push ourselves to do well,” he told Saharafootball.net
The loss sees the title hopefuls, Medeama SC drops to 6th with 26 points.
