
Lawrence Agyekum has received a late invite to the national team of Ghana for the double 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.
The young star is expected to travel to Ghana on Monday to join the rest of the squad as they prepare for the two crucial World Cup ties in Accra and Morrocco.

The 21-year has been an ever-present figure for the Belgian side since transferring from Salzburg in Austria Bundesliga last summer.
Agyekum has been a cogwheel for Cercle Brugge in the Belgium Pro League.
He has featured twenty-seven times for the club. The hard-tackling enforcer was involved for Cercle Brugge as they lost to Ghanaian compatriot Majeed Ashiemru’s Anderlecht.
He is expected to make his senior national team debut on Friday, March,21,2025 as the team takes on Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium.
