Ghana Premier League club, Dreams FC lost in their maiden Confederations Cup game against Tunisian club, Club Africain at the Stade Olympique Hammadi Agrebi Stadium.
The Ghanaian club was hoping to give the country a good standing in the competition with its opening game but sadly they lost away from home.

The Tunisian got their noses in front through, Tayeb Meziani, who tapped in from close range after Bassem Srarfi had effortlessly dribbled past the visitors’ defense for a 5th minute lead.

The host was back with another goal through, Nigerian forward, Kingsley Eduwo, whose thunder shot from outside the box was poorly dealt with by goalkeeper, Solomon Agbasi.

As if that was not enough, Abdul Jalilu was shown his marching orders after a second bookable offense in the in the 59th minute, nineteen minutes apart from his first booking of the game.
Dreams FC will hope to better their quest in the Confederations Cup as they welcome Rivers United from Nigeria for the second group game on December 3, 2023, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi.
