WAFA’s Lawrence Agyekum reveals secret to victory over Bechem United
WAFA played host to Bechem United at the Sogakope Red Bull Arena in a match where few chances were created amongst the two sides but in the end, a Lawrence Agyekum goal handed the home side all three maximum points on the day.
The home club went ahead in the first half and had to play above their weight levels to preserve their slender lead, according to the mercurial midfielder, Lawrence Agyekum, whose goal did the trick for his side attributed it to their ability to stay disciplined and not lose concentration after going ahead in the game.
“We were very disciplined throughout the game. Though we had a goal in the first half, we were able to keep our concentration until the end of the game. Both clubs exhibited a very good performance but it’s only one team that gets away with the three points which we did.” he told Saharafootball.net
The highly-rated potential is slowly growing into a wild beast in the heart of midfield for coach Prosper Narteh, who has since deployed him on 14 separate occasions with 2 goals to his credit.
Meanwhile, Agyekum is confident that he will keep on churning good performances anytime he takes to the pitch.
WAFA are up to 10th on the log and will travel away to Elmina Sharks who were battered and dispatched by Liberty Professionals over the weekend at the Sogakope Red Bull Arena.
