The Black Queens of Ghana lost the plot against the Lionesses of Teranga, Senegal in an international friendly.
The two teams met three days ago with Evelyn Badu scoring the only goal that saw the Ghanaians edging out their counterparts from Senegal.

The win marked Swedish trainer Kim Lars Bjorkegren’s first win as Black Queens head coach.
In the reverse fixture of the friendly game, he rang some changes naming, Nina Norshie, and Justice Tweneboa in defense, Chantelle Boye in midfield with Priscilla Adubea, Sherifa Sumaila manning the wings, and Doris Boaduwaa leading the attack.

Both teams created few chances in the first half which ended goalless.
In the second half, both teams went at each other Ghana’s Sumaila, Doris Boaduwaa went closest to scoring but the opposition defense was resolute to the task.
In stoppage time of the second half, Hapsatou Diallo’s ferocious shot in the eighteen-yard box flew past Cynthia Konlan in post for the Black Queens.

Kim Lars Bjorkegren and his technical team used these two friendly games to assess the team ahead of the WAFCON tournament.
