Ghana had a strong start in the tournament, securing a thrilling 3-2 victory over Congo in their opening match. Ernest Nuamah opened the scoring in the second half, and Emmanuel Yeboah, who came off the bench, netted two goals, giving the Black Meteors a three-goal lead.
This win has placed Ghana at the top of their group, level on points with their upcoming opponents, Morocco. A win in Tuesday’s match would all but ensure the Black Meteors a spot in the semi-finals.
The team will aim to maintain their winning streak and secure another crucial victory as they strive for success in Morocco.
