
Ibrahim Tanko is in line to take up the vacant coaching role at Ghana Premier League side, Medeama SC.
Tanko was relieved of his duties from Accra Lions after a poor string of results which has seen the team battling for relegation.
The Western region side has been without a head coach after they sacked Bosnia trainer Nebojsa Kapor in the first round campaign. Technical director Evans Adotey has been supervising the last few games.
The Mauve and Yellow side have found wins hard to come by as they are winless in their ast four games, which includes back-to-back losses to Accra Lions and Berekum Chelsea.
Medeama will hope to wrap up a deal for Ibrahim Tanko, who has immense experience in the league and will hope to get the club back in contention for the league title.
They occupy the seventh position on the log with 26 points from 18 games.
