Ex Ghana international Sulley Muntari has revealed he is done with football
Muntari is yet to officially announce his retirement but revealed he only returned after three years to fulfil his son’s request.
Sulley played for Hearts of Oak last season after three years of inactiveness. He went ahead to help the team win the FA Cup trophy and qualify for the CAF Confederations Cup.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Muntari revealed :“I just did a few months with the local side. My son wanted me to play. I didn’t play for almost three years, then my son decided to ask me to go and play. I did that, but now I’m done!,”
Muntari was part of the famous 2010 Inter Millan team that won the UEFA Champions League in 2010 and was part of the treble winning team.
In 2008, Muntari was part of the team that won Portsmouth the English the FA Cup.
Muntari started his career with Dansoman based side, Liberty Professionals before moving to Italy to play for Udinese.
He has also played for AC Milan, and Albacete in Spain.
Sulley played in three World Cups for Ghana scoring two goals.
