Seidu, recognized for his versatility in playing both as a centre-back and a right-back, returns to France following his participation with Ghana in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, where he had limited playing time during the group stage exit.
His addition is anticipated to provide a boost to Stade Rennais, currently positioned 9th in Ligue 1, facing challenges with inconsistency this season. The club looks to leverage Seidu’s experience and skills to enhance their performance and contend for European placements.
The signing was officially announced by Rennais on social media, accompanied by a video expressing their enthusiasm for his inclusion in the team.
