The Black Queens are set to receive their long-awaited bonuses from the Ministry of Youth and Sports on Thursday, February 22, just before their Olympic Games qualifier against Zambia.
The team has been preparing for a tough third-round match against Zambia, but concerns have been raised about the outstanding bonuses owed to players, which are estimated at around $7,500 per player.

Following promises made during a recent press conference in Kumasi, the team is expected to first receive their per diems and then their overdue bonuses.
The Chief Accountant of the Ministry of Youth and Sports assured the players that their per diems for this camp are ready and will be paid after training, with their bonus arrears to be settled by 1 pm on Thursday.
This timely resolution of the bonus issue is expected to boost morale ahead of the crucial match against Zambia.
Despite these off-field challenges, the Black Queens will be looking to their recent impressive form, having won 10 out of their last 11 games, to secure a positive result in the upcoming fixture.
