Special Competition: Elmina Sharks bite Hearts Of Oak
Hearts Of Oak suffered a late defeat at Cape Coast in their encounter with Elmina Sharks in the Matchday Two of the Special Competition.
Elmina Sharks continue with their impressive form, they secured a point against Inter Allies in Tema and have now grabbed all three points against Hearts Of Oak thanks to Felix Addo’s last strike.
Elmina Sharks started the game with fast attacking play, but the first opportunity came to Esso of Hearts who failed to convert to put his team in front.
Fatawu Mohammed almost opened the scoring in the 25th minute but his effort was deflected for a corner.
Hearts Of Oak had a couple of chances through Koffi Kordzi but the striker failed to find the back of the net as the first 45 minutes came to an end.
Kofi Kordzi had the perfect opportunity to put Hearts in front in the 65th minute but missed the chance.
Felix Addo grabbed the winner in the 84th minute to make sure his team take all three points.
