Sogne Yacouba agrees to extend contract with Asante Kotoko
Sogne Yacouba has agreed to sign a contract extension with Asante Kotoko, Sahara Football understands.
The Burkinabe forward has agreed to extend his contract with the club after a few months of uncertainty.
Representatives of the former Stade Malien striker have been holding talks with club since the player’s arrival last week.
His contract with Asante Kotoko will expire on April 2020.
He was linked with move to several clubs in Africa including Orlando Pirates, Al Hilal, Zesco United, and Nkana FC.
Yacouba netted two goals with five assists in their CAF Confederation Cup last season.
He missed Asante Kotoko’s first match in the 2019/20 CAF Champions League against Kano Pillars in Nigeria.
