Sheffield United goalkeeper Jordan Amissah has joined the Ghana Black Meteors camp as they continue preparations for the 2023 u23 Africa Cup of Nations.
Ibrahim Tanko welcomed the 21-year-old on Wednesday. Jordan Amissah will begin training with the team on Thursday.
Jordan Amissah recently gained promotion to the English Premier League with his club Sheffield United. He becomes one of the foreign-based players called up by Ibrahim Tanko for the U23 AFCON.
The talented goalkeeper revealed his willingness to play for Ghana in the past despite being born in Germany.

Ghana will be looking to put out their best performance in the 2023 edition of the U23 AFCON as they are hoping to seal a ticket to the 2024 Olympics.
Ghana Black Meteors will continue preparations in Ghana before flying to Egypt to engage in pre-tournament friendlies before finally flying to Morocco for the tournament which kicks off on the 24th of June.
