Samartex’s Isaac Afful gets first call-up to Black Stars

Samartex defender, Isaac Afful, has earned his maiden call-up to the Black Stars.

 



The budding fullback’s effort in the league with Samartex went unnoticed as he has been invited to the BlackStars’ double header in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

Afful was a cogwheel for Nurudeen Amadu’s squad, which won the league and played in the CAF Champions League preliminary round of games.

Black Stars will hope to perform a gallant display against Sudan on October 10 at the Accra Sports Stadium and Libya on October 15, 2024.
