Ghanaian Premier League champions Samartex have acquired the services of Kofi Agbesimah from Hearts of Oak.
The towering defender has left the capital-based club, Hearts of Oak in pursuit of a new challenge which has seen him join the reigning champions.

Agbesimah signed a two-year deal with the Samreboi-based club.
“We are delighted to announce that experienced center-back Kofi Agbesimah has joined us permanently on a two-year deal from Accra Hearts of Oak. His acquisition will ultimately invigorate the defense with unmatched experience and add a new dimension to the team,” Samartex announced.

Samartex will hope to rely on the consistency and experience of the 27-year-old defender in the CAF Champions League and title defense next season.

He will be available for selection against Cameroonian side TP Elect Sport FC in the first preliminary round of the 2024/25 CAF Champions League.
