Ghanaian striker Richmond Boakye Yiadom has signed with Malaysian side, Selangor FC.
Boakye Yiadom recently became a free agent has agreed to a six-month deal with Selangor FC in order to enhance the team’s chances of winning the Malaysia Super League championship in the latter half of the season.
Selangor FC is currently in second place on the league table, and the arrival of Boakye-Yiadom is expected to greatly improve the team’s attacking power.

Boakye-Yiadom previously played for Al Akhdar in Libya, making 11 appearances and scoring three goals across different competitions.
However, the experienced striker is most renowned for his successful spells in Italy. He has played for notable Italian clubs including Genoa, Sassuolo, Juventus, Atalanta, and Latina.
After his time in Italy, Boakye-Yiadom joined Red Star Belgrade in Serbia where he was won several trophies.
Selangor FC’s acquisition of Boakye-Yiadom signifies the club’s determination to strengthen their attacking options and strive for success in the league.
