Richard Boadu pens new contract with Medeama
Medeama have announced Richard Boadu has signed a new contract, which will keep him at the club until 2024, with an option to extend for a further year.
The defensive midfielder has been an important cogwheel for the Tarkwa based club under the able leadership of Samuel Boadu.
The midfielder couldn’t hide his excitement about signing his new contract with the Mauve and Yellow side.
“It’s a real honour to continue to represent this amazing club and our incredible fans. I have not been here for many, many, years but proud to call Tarkwa my home.
“I am looking forward to working with the coach and his great backroom staff.
Coach Samuel Boadu spoke highly of the combative midfielder who has become an important piece to his side this season in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.
“Richard is one of the underrated midfielders in Ghana but soon people will get to know his immense talent” .
“He is the engine of our team and has seen a massive improvement in professional attitude.
“I am very delighted that he has signed a new contract, and I know that his talent and positive mentality will be invaluable to the squad.”
Medeama were at the summit of the table until they were recently docked three points seeing them cede that position to Aduana Stars.
