Taking place in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, from October 11 to October 16, 2023, the AFCON Preparation Course encompasses a comprehensive training regimen, encompassing technical, theoretical, and physical assessments for both referees.

The primary aim of this course is to ensure that the officiating crew is thoroughly prepared and equipped with the requisite expertise and knowledge to effectively oversee matches during the 2023 AFCON, hosted by Cote d’Ivoire.

This marks Ivory Coast’s second time hosting the tournament, following their initial hosting stint in 1984.
