
Ibrahim Tanko has given the strongest indication of winning laurels for his new club, Medeama SC.
Tanko was officially unveiled as the new head coach having penned down a two-and- half year contract with the Tarkwa based club.
Speaking to the club’s in-house media team, he was optimistic about his chances of achieving success with the former champions.
He said” That’s the nature of the sports we find ourselves. We are always going to be better. I’m here to achieve something better. So definitely, before the end of my tenure I’m sure the cups would be more” .
Since, Medeama SC burst unto the scene a decade ago, they have won one Ghana Premier League title, two FA Cups and Suoer Cups.
The former Borussia Dortmund will be in the dug out for the game against Legon Cities on Sunday February 3, 2025, at the TnA Stadium.
