Kotoko head coach Prosper Ogun Narteh expressed delight to the fans who continued showing immense support to the club despite their early struggles in the second round of the league.
The record holders of the Ghana Premier League began life in the second round in a rather bitter taste fashion as they went seven games without a win heightened massive pressure on the technical team and the playing body.

This trend of bad results saw the Life Patron Otumfuo call for a meeting to address the failing standards of the club which yielded positive dividends.
The Porcupine Warriors have gone three games without a loss which has spiraled belief and a sense of optimism amongst the fans.
Speaking in his post-match reaction, Dr. Ogum was full of praise to the fans who came in their numbers to show their support for the team against Legon Cities.
“Today they came, they sang, they supported us. I didn’t see the ranting when they (the players) made the good errors because the more they rant at the players, the more they hoot and boo at the players, and the tenser they become when they are playing at Baba Yara.”
“So they should keep this spirit for the rest of the five games and I’m sure we will be able to turn things around.”

Prosper Ogun Narteh will hope to inspire his boys as they travel up north to face Samuel Boadu’s Berekum Chelsea on Friday, May 17 at Golden City Park.
