Prosper Narteh finally confirms his departure from Asante Kotoko after penning his farewell message to the fans and stakeholders of the club.
The coach led Asante Kotoko to their first league title in eight years last season but resigned ahead of the club’s much anticipated African campaign.
After verbally resigning from his position weeks ago, the coach submitted his resignation a few days ago and has officially left the club.
In his farewell message, the coach believes his departure is in the best interest of the club and apologized to the fans for causing them any pain.
Asante Kotoko have already begun life without Prosper Narteh; the club began their pre-season preparations with Abdul Gazelle and will be flying to Turkey for the second phase of the pre-season while they await the arrival of a new coach.
