General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Prosper Harrison Addo missed out on his bid to serve on the Ghana Olympic Board.
Harrison Addo pulled the least of votes after counting. He basked 28 votes compared to his other opponents, George Lamptey, who polled 34 votes, Delphina Quaye (53 votes), Kamal Sulley (50 votes), George Tettey (40 votes), and Richmond Quarcoo (46 votes) during the Ghana Olympic Committee Elections on Saturday.

The board members of the GOC are drawn from Olympic Sports (5 slots), Non-Olympic Sports (1 slot), Affiliate Bodies (1 slot), and Co-opted Members (3 slots).

Meanwhile, Richard Akpokavie has been elected as the new president of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC).
