My players disappointed me – Bechem coach Kweku Danso
Bechem United coach Kweku Danso heavily criticized his players following their 3-2 defeat against Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Kofi Korzi scored a 90th-minute winner to give Hearts all three points after connecting with Emmanuel Nettey’s cross from the edge of the penalty box.
Kweku Danso believed his players were at fault for the painful defeat as they couldn’t ‘stick to his plan’.
“I was hoping we could get a point even if we couldn’t get all three points but we lost the game and I must say that my players disappointed me,” he said
“Looking at the way they were ballooning the balls during the closing minutes of the game, we should have kept the ball on the ground and play our normal game to at least secure a point but it is football and it has happened, so we go back and see what we can do,” he added
