The Black Queens of Ghana qualified for the next stage of the 2024 Olympic Games after beating Benin in the second leg at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The hosts came into this game after a thumping away win to Benin with a double from Gifty Assifuah and Doris Boaduwaa.

Nora Hauptle was looking to preserve a perfect home record which saw her name a formidable side against Benin.
The Queens got close to scoring with efforts from, Saudi Arabia-based Alice Kusi, and Grace Asantewaa, who all failed to make their attempts hit the back of the net.

Twenty minutes after the resumption of the second half, Evelyn Badu broke the deadlock after he thumped in the opening goal after some lackluster defending from the opposition outfit.
An Evelyn Badu cross was miscued into the net by the Benin center-back for the Queens’ second goal of the game to help seal a 5-0 aggregate win for Nora Hauptle’s side at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Ghana will meet Zambia in the third round of the qualifiers after their win over Benin.
