Otumfuo bans player recruitment at Kotoko for a year
The life patron of Asante Kotoko Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has placed a ban on player recruitment at the club for at least a season, the club announced via their twitter handle.
Otumfuo stated that the club currently have enough players to achieve its goals, and the coaching staff should focus on nurturing and promoting players in the youth team.

The chief of Staff at the Manhyia Palace revealed the Otumfuo’s decision during the inauguration of the new Kotoko board members.
“Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has directed that Asante Kotoko should not sign any player for the first team for one year” Kofi Badu said
“The club has enough players to serve them for the period in question” he added
