OFFICIAL: Kotoko goalkeeper joins Berekum Chelsea on loan
Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim has signed a three-year contract extension with the club and will join Ghana Premier League side, Berekum Chelsea, on loan for the upcoming season.
Danlad Ibrahim’s contract was set to expire at the end of the year but has extended his stay with the Porcupines till 2023.
“I agree with the management on their basis for wanting me to go on loan, I have been here for three years but lacked the number of game minutes I desire. I feel, therefore, that it will be good for me to go and get some playing time” Danlad Ibrahim told Kotoko Express App
“This is the opportunity to show Ghanaians what is in me; that which they saw at the U-17 which propelled my national team career. I want to be counted among the best five goalkeepers when the 2019/2020 Premier League ends” he added.
