OFFICIAL: Hearts of Oak announce Samuel Boadu as new Head Coach
Ghana Premier League giants, Accra Hearts of Oak have swiftly moved to appoint highly talented Samuel Boadu as the club’s new head coach.
The young dynamic coach takes over from the departed Serbian coach Kosta Papic on a three-year deal, who resigned from the club citing external influences and pressure from the top hierarchy of the club.
He is expected to propel the Rainbow club back to its glory days on the domestic and continental front with the main focus centered on winning the Ghana Premier League 2020-21 or the MTN FA Cup.

Boadu shockingly resigned last week from his post at Medeama after leading the club to second on the table with back-to victories over Elmina Sharks and Eleven Wonders aiding the club to second on the pile.
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, Board Chairman and Patron of Accra Hearts of Oak, Togbe Afede XIV, said the club has made the right decision in appointing the young gaffer.
“Our commitment is to work with him for several many years, so we can achieve success together.” he ended.
An ecstatic Samuel Boadu, who couldn’t contain his excitement on landing a rare opportunity to coach one of the two biggest clubs in the Ghana football landscape.
“I had been looking for this opportunity for quite a long time, this is the time for me to be part of the Phobia family. I am proud to call myself the Head Coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, I will do my very best and work very hard for Accra Hearts of Oak” he remarked.
Hearts of Oak will take on WAFA in the ultimate round of matches for the first half of the ongoing league season.
