
Nsoatreman FC has released a statement confirming its withdrawal from the ongoing Ghana Premier League and any other competition organized by the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
The club’s statement cited security and safety concerns of its players and technical team.

It will be recalled that during the Ghana Premier League game nineteen between the host and Kotoko, a fan (Yaw Pooley Frimpong) of the opposing team tragically lost his life.
This led to the league’s suspension for four weeks to allow the Ghana Police Service to carry out investigations, which led to the arrest of several persons.

It’s unclear if the GFA has received Nsoatreman’s letter and what steps they are taking to address the issue.
