The National Sports Authority (NSA) has released a statement prompting clubs to resort to other venues for their Ghana Premier League games due to the imminent closure of the Accra Sports Stadium for December’s Christmas festivities.
In the letter released and signed by the Director General of the NSA, Professor Peter Twumasi, the venue will be used for a host of festivities that will happen in December hence clubs should resort to the use of their alternative venues for their home games.

Some of the affected clubs are Accra Hearts of Oak, Great Olympics, and Accra Lions.
STATEMENT FROM THE NSA
Saharafootball.net understands that Hearts of Oak are already gearing up to use the Baba Yara Sports Stadium for their home games, Great Olympics will move to the Red Bull Arena in Sogakope while Accra Lions will play at the El-Wak Sports Stadium.
