The head of the normalization committee Dr Kofi Amoah has revealed that he and his team are yet to decide with the clubs when football will resume in the country.
He was speaking in an interview with Joy Sports in which he revealed the they are yet to agree with the local teams on when active football will continue.

“We have had a lot of discussions with the clubs and we are converging towards a decision”, he said. “The decision has not been arrived at. We have met with GHALCA, we’ve met with the Premier League clubs and also with the League one clubs. We want to start playing football in the country again but the format with which we start is important.” he added.

He also said that issues that lead to the collapse of the football in the country needed to be addressed before any solid structure could be put in place for the commencement of football in the country. “For me, some semblance of answers to some of the problems we have been facing is very necessary. The problems that put us into the gutter, we cannot come out and start doing things the same way.”
The chairman of the committee said he was very confident that very soon football would be back and asked for patience for the due procedures and processes to be taken.
