The Black Galaxies failed to make their home superiority count as they drew goalless with their West African counterparts in Accra a fortnight ago.
The second leg in Uyo in of the CHAN qualifiers after playing out a goalless draw in the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Black Galaxies head coach, Mas-ud Dramani commended his opponents’ ambition in staking a win in the fiercest clash between the two footballing giants.
“They were full of running and played their hearts out. Congratulations to Nigeria because they deserved their victory. They were the better team” Dramani said according to Nigerian media outlet Premium Times.

Ghana missed out again in another qualifying campaign twice in two year after failing to make the previous one in 2022.
