Black Stars defender, Mohammed Salisu has declared his readiness to revenge against Uruguay.
Speaking to the Southampton media team, Salisu revealed how Ghanaians are looking up to the match against Uruguay.
He said; ” Ghanaians are looking forward to that game because we are going for revenge. I am also looking forward to the game and I need to fight for my country”.

The center back explained that, the defeat against Uruguay in 2010 was one which was difficult to take but this is a great opportunity to make amends.
He added that; ” when we played against Uruguay in 2010, Ghana was tythe best African team at the World Cup and that memory inspires me”.
Salisu is an integral member of the team and is expected to be named in the starting eleven for Ghana’s matches during the World Cup.
The Black Stars will begin their world cup campaign against Portugal on the 24th of November, followed by South Korea on November 28 and Uruguay on December 2.
