Kudus’ introduction as a substitute injected renewed vigor into the Hammers’ play. In the 89th minute, he unleashed a remarkable strike from the edge of the area, a powerful left-footed shot that left Pope with little chance and lifted the spirits of the London Stadium crowd.
This marked Kudus’ third goal across all competitions since his high-profile transfer from Ajax to West Ham, a deal that exceeded 40 million euros. Notably, it was his first goal in the Premier League for his new side.
Kudus had a special guest in attendance – the renowned Ghanaian afro dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, was present. Stonebwoy happens to be Kudus’ favorite musician.
