Ghana Premier League Medeama have completed the signing of defender Kwadwo Amoako on a free transfer after the player ended his stay at Ashantigold.
The player signed a three-year contract with the Tarkwa-based club.
“Medeama is a special club, and I cannot wait to get started. I am very happy to join this team finally and look forward to working with the coach, his backroom staff, and my teammates” the player said after completing his move.
“Kwadwo is one of the most exciting players in the Ghanaian top-flight and we’re delighted to have him with us. This is the right club for him and will thrive in Tarkwa” Coach Umar Rabi said
“In addition to his outstanding technique, Kwadwo will add valuable experience and leadership skills to the squad, and we are looking forward to seeing the benefits of these qualities on the pitch this coming season and beyond” he added.
The player decided not to extend his stay after Ashantigold were demoted to the Division Two of Ghana Football following the match-fixing scandal.
