Medeama SC have permanently appointed Umar Abdul Rabi as the new head coach pending an official announcement.
Rabbi took over the reins of the job following the sacking of the then coach, Ignatius Osei-Fosu following a string of poor performance with the Tarkwa-based club.
In his temporal role as head coach of the side, he masterminded an impressive 16 victories, losing only 9, the others ending in a draw in 31 games.
Rabbi, who led Medeama SC to a 2nd place finish will hope his recent appointment will help the side to its maiden Ghana Premier League triumph in the upcoming season.
