Medeama head coach, Umar Abdul Rabi has resigned from his position
Medeama SC head coach Umar Abdul Rabi has resigned from his position with immediate effect following the club’s 1-1 draw with Real Tamale United in the GPL.
Abdul Rabi handed his resignation to the club right after the matchday 19 fixture at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale yesterday.

During his time with Medeama, he led the club to a second-place finish in the Ghana Premier League in the 2021-22 season.
Medeama are currently 8th on the league table with 28 points after 19 matches with 8 wins, 4 draws and 7 losses.
Medeama is expected to announce a new head coach for the remainder of the 2022-23 campaign in the coming days after the club accepted the resignation of Abdul Rabi.
