Medeama SC goalkeeper Kofi Mensah has left Ghana for Ethiopia to join Premier League side Legetafo Legedadi.

The Medeama goalkeeper left Ghana on Tuesday night to complete his proposed move to Legetafo in Ethiopia.

Kofi Mensah is a very experienced shot stopper  having  previously played for Medeama, AshGold Sc, Karela United, Ebusua Dwarfs, Tema Youth FC and Zambian giants Power Dynamos FC.

Mensah is expected to sign for Legetafo Legedadi on a short-term deal with an option for a permanent contract should he impress.

Legetafo Legedadi are struggling  in the Ethiopian Premier League after gaining promotion last season.

They are currently last on the ,Ethiopian Premier league standings with just six points from 13 matches played.

Legetafo are hoping Kofi Mensah can help turn things around in the second half of the season.

It is a priority for the club to avoid relegation at the end of the season hence making signings.
