Ghana’s duo representatives, Medeama SC and Dreams in this year’s CAF inter-club competitions will use the Cape Coast Stadium for their group games ahead of the competition that is slated to kick start this month.
Dawu-based Dreams FC used the Accra Sports Stadium for their home games, which saw them eliminate Guinean side Milo FC de Kankan and FC Kallon of Sierra Leone to seal a place in the CAF Confederations Cup for the first time.

Tarkwa-based, Medeama saw off stiff opposition in Remo Stars (Nigeria)and G Horoya AC (Guinea) to also book a place in the CAF Champions League to hoist the flag of mother Ghana.
It was initially rumored that Medeama would try and race against time to put the finishing touches to their Tarkwa T and A Stadium to use it for the group phase but they couldn’t meet the scheduled deadline.
As things stand, the two representatives from Ghana have both settled on using the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
Evans Adotey and his charges will contend with Al Ahly SC (Egypt), Algerian champions CR Belouizdad, and Tanzanian Club Young Africans SC for one of two spots in Group D.
Dreams have pitted in group C alongside, Nigerian side Rivers United, Club Africain, and fellow debutants Academica do Lobito.
The CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup group stages games will start on Friday, November 24, 2023, through Sunday, March 3, 2024.
