Striker Daniel Lomotey was handed a starting berth ahead of Nana Kofi Babil which saw the host go two–man affront in attack with Jonathan Sowah.

Michael Ephson and Dauda Yussif Samartex were subbed on for Emmanuel Mamah and Francis Gyetuah in the 51st minute to help the away side get back in the game but it proved futile.
