Match Review : Medeama SC beat King Faisal

Medeama SC beat King Faisal to inch closer to basking their first Ghana Premier League title in its club history in game week thirty-two of the ongoing league. 



The  Insha Allahu boys facing relegation had it all to do in today’s game, as captain, Samuel Kusi shot his side in the lead with a powerdriver from 30 yards which beat Felix Kyei in post for the host.

Upon resumption of the second half, coach Evans Adotey effected a change in the 58th minute taking off  Prosper Boakye Owusu for Joshua Agyemang.

In the 67th minute, Manuel Mantey threaded an exciting pass to Derrick Fordjour, who skipped past two King Faisal players, and played a cut back only from second-half substitute, Joshua Agyemang to tap in from close range, sending the home fans into ruptures cheers, 2-1, for the host.

The win sees, Medeama SC open a four-point gap at the summit of the table, with two games against, Samartex and Tamale City whiles King Faisal play Legon Cities and RTU in the next two games to salvage their position in the league.
