Kotoko settled for a 1-1 draw with Bechem United at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi.
The Porcupine Warriors came into the duel with an enviable record backing them after posting nine consecutive wins at home and looking to add Bechem to the list of the preys.

The first half ended goalless which forced the hand of coach Prosper Ogun Narteh to effect changes with the hope of getting the needed breakthrough.
Samuel Eduku, Francis Bassey and Isaac Mintah came in for Baba Yaya, Kwame Opoku and Amidu Acquah on the 63rd minute of the back.
Six minutes later, Dalvin Yeboah poked the visiting side into the lead after a well-worked move stunning the home fans present at the stadium.
With 10 minutes to end proceedings, referee adjudged a Bechem United player to have handled the ball in the box which was given as a penalty. Albert Amoah stepped up and converted expertly for them. 1-1.
The result sees Kotoko lose their grip at the summit as the GoldStars have leveled up to 47 points following their home win against Young Apostles with a brilliant goal from Alex Aso.
