Accra Lions got the better of Accra Great Olympics in game week twenty-two of the ongoing Ghana Premier League game which was played at the Sogakope Red Bull Arena.
An early goal scored by promising chap, Dominic Amponsah proved the match-winner for the host in a fierce contest between the two clubs.

The hosts made their presence felt in the game as efforts by Blessing Asuman, Mohammed Yahaya, and Shawkan Mohammed saw them come close to opening the scoring for the game until Dominic Amponsah found the back of the net.
After the second half resumed, both teams gave each other a real treat of game action for goals but the host kept their composure and demeanor to preserve their goal from the first half.

Accra Lions is stationed 9th on the log, while Great Olympics is down to 12th on the log.
The Accra Lions will travel away to Tamale to face off with RTU, and the Aduana Stars will travel down south to play the Wonder Club.
