Match Preview and Prediction: Ashantigold vs Karela United

Ashantigold have started the season brightly under the tutelage of new coach, Ernest Thompson Quartey securing a vital win away to Eleven Wonders. 



This weekend, they will be at the Obuasi-based Ley Clay Stadium to square off with Karela United. The latter drew their first home game to Aduana Stars in a 1-1 pulsating draw. 

Karela United have lost a goal hero in Diawisie Taylor, who has since moved to Future SC, Egypt in the just-ended transfer window. His absence will be greatly felt as new coach Kobby Mensah will have to deploy others in his place as they travel to Obuasi over the weekend. 

Last season, when both teams met in two legs, none of them was able to pitch a win past each other, and with the new season up and running they will want to secure the points in the bag as quickly as possible.
