Ghanaian star Majeed Waris broke down in tears at Nantes training ground after news that search for his former teammate Emiliano Sala was called off and the striker is feared dead.
Sala was traveling back from Nantes after saying his goodbyes to his teammates after he completed his £15m move to Cardiff when his plan got missing.
Intensive search was conducted for three days until the Guernsey Police announced that they have stopped the search for the Argentine and the pilot, as they believed the chances of survival are slim.
Nantes French Cup game was postponed because of the sad event.
Players and staffs gathered at the training ground, fans also surrounded the training complex as everyone looked devastated by the shocking incident.

Majeed Waris who was among the players in the training ground coudln’t hold back his tears as he broke down in the arms of his coach Vahid Halilhodzic.
“It is not easy, if you want to stay with us today, we will continue to work,” Halilhodzic told fans of the club.
“We will stick together more than ever to get through this tough moment.”
