Madagascar arrive in Kumasi to face Ghana in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers
The national team of Madagascar have arrived in Kumasi in preparation for the opening match of Group I in the World Cup qualifiers against Ghana.
The team conducted a training session in Kumasi on Wednesday and is scheduled for another one on Thursday, gearing up for the match on Friday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Madagascar is optimistic about a positive start as they face the West African giants on Thursday before returning home for their second group game against Chad.

In the meantime, the Black Stars have been in Kumasi since Tuesday, diligently getting ready for this crucial encounter.
With aspirations to make a mark in the World Cup qualifiers, the four-time African champions aim to kick off the campaign with a victory.
In their previous encounter, Ghana emerged victorious with a 3-0 win over Madagascar at the Cape Coast Stadium during the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Ghana had qualified for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar but did not advance beyond the group stage.
