Ghanaian striker Kwame Peprah has successfully transferred to Kerala Blasters FC in the Indian Super League on a permanent basis.
Having been released by the South African team, Peprah, formerly with King Faisal Babes, has inked a two-year deal with Blasters, contingent upon his passing a medical examination.
Peprah’s shift to India comes without a transfer fee, following the collapse of his intended move to Hapoel Hadera in the Israeli Premier League.
Last season, the 22-year-old split his time between Maritzburg United in the South African Premier League, making 14 appearances and netting one goal.

Peprah’s decision to join Maritzburg was motivated by limited playing time at Pirates, where he featured in just five matches before making the switch.
During his debut season with the Sea Robbers, Peprah made a significant impact by scoring 9 goals in 38 games across various competitions in the 2021-22 season.
He earned recognition as the Pirates’ Young Player of the Season and was also a nominee for the South African Premiership Young Player of the Season award in his inaugural campaign.
